About Me

Hello, I’m Katie Carter! A digital media artist based in Jacksonville, Florida. I studied Graphic Design at the University of North Florida. I spent some time in the design and photography industry, but decided I would rather begin my own small design business on the side and I am now also a full-time High School CTE Digital Photography/Media teacher.

I enjoy creating art that is positive, magical, up-lifting and often times silly.

I’m also a HUGE LOTR nerd (well fantasy in general) so I LOVE to read. And then make art inspired by those stories.

Fun fact: my maiden name was literally “Katie Boring”… so I made all of my social media handles “katiexciting” in highschool, and it has just stuck! Exciting right?
